A primeira vez que vi obras do Sid One foi numa visita a alguns abandonados da zona de Cascais, a convite de Rope.
Natural da Amadora, é conhecido pelos seus bombings nas Auto-Estradas, comboios e armazéns abandonados.
Como locais de pintura preferidos destaca a Amadora, Sintra e Loures.
Sem entrar em beefs desnecessários, o writer refere que sempre pintou com os seus e para os seus.
Quando convidado para dar o seu contributo para o blog, não hesitou em participar, para mostrar "aos mais novos no game que não percebem ou não entendem a história que isto tem por trás".
Qual o significado do teu tag?
Sid é alcunha já há alguns anos. Começou por ser uma brincadeira que virou coisa séria.
Tens formação em Arte?
Nunca tive formação ou experiência em artes. Apenas aprendo com o que faço.
Quando começou o teu interesse pelo graffiti e quais foram as tuas influências na altura?
O meu interesse pelo graffiti já vem desde miúdo, quando fazia viagens com os meus cotas pelo país e, nas auto-estradas ou cidades que passava, ficava a ver os graffs e a admirá-los.
As maiores influências que tive foi o pessoal da minha zona (RPK, MLK , HNTS, R1/GVS, entre outras).
Como era a cena no graffiti quando começaste?
Não há grande diferença para hoje em dia. O que se nota mais é que, hoje em dia, há mais competitividade do que gosto pela pintura.
Quais são as tuas crews?
SFE e TWS.
Quais são os teus spots / cidades preferidos?
Chapas de auto-estradas, streets e armazéns abandonados.
Wall of fame, Street bombing ou Train bombing?
Trains e streets.
Qual é a tua lata preferida?
Kobra , NBQ ou Montana cans.
Como é o teu processo criativo e onde vais buscar as tuas inspirações?
O meu processo criativo depende de pintura para pintura, tanto dou o que tenho em mente como improviso. Depende do espaço.
As minhas inspirações vêm do que vejo no dia a dia.
Pintas com sketch ou freestyle?
Geralmente, freestyle. Mas tenho uns sketchs pra mandar.
Preferes pintar sozinho ou em grupo?
Prefiro pintar em grupo, mas não me prendo por ninguém!!
Com quem gostas de pintar?
Abug, Bero, Snek, Trasi e Other.
O que toca na tua playlist quando pintas?
Geralmente, pinto sem música, para estar mais atento às cenas em redor. Mas, quando oiço, é sempre um bom boombap ou techno.
Como descreves o panorama atual do graffiti em Portugal?
Toda a gente quer aumentar o seu ego. Poucos pintam pela essência!!
Qual é o teu top 3 de writers portugueses?
Depende muito do que estiveres a falar, mas vou-te dizer alguns que respeito em várias vertentes: Bray, Seg e Mulog.
E de writers estrangeiros?
Quais são os teus planos / projetos futuros?
Pretendo continuar no mundo do graff, continuar a pintar e desenvolver projetos em torno do mesmo.

Props a toda a gente que já pintou comigo. Mas, em especial, ao meus rapazes Abug, Berito, Snek, Trasi, Bion e Kayro.

The first time I saw Sid One's works was on a visit to some abandoned buildings in the Cascais area, at the invitation of Rope.
Born in Amadora, he is known for his bombings on highways, trains or abandoned warehouses. As favorite painting places, Amadora, Sintra and Loures stand out. Without going into unnecessary beefs, the writer says that he always painted with his own and for his own. When invited to contribute to the blog, he did not hesitate to participate, to show "the youngest in the game who do not understand or don't get it the story behind it".
What is the meaning of your tag?
Sid has been a nickname for a few years now. It started out as a joke that became serious.
Do you have art training? I never had any training or experience in the arts. I just learn from what I do.
When did your interest in graffiti start and what were your influences at the time?
My interest in graffiti has been around since I was a kid, when I traveled with my parents around the country and, on the highways or cities that I passed, I stayed to see the graffs and admire them.
The biggest influences I had were the people in my area (RPK, MLK, HNTS, R1 / GVS, among others).
What was the graffiti scene like when you started?
There is no big difference for today. What is more noticeable is that, today, there is more competitiveness than a taste for painting.
What are your crews?
SFE and TWS.
What are your favorite spots / cities?
Abandoned motorways, streets and warehouses.
Wall of fame, Street bombing or Train bombing? Trains and streets. What is your favorite can? Kobra, NBQ or Montana cans.
How is your creative process and where do you get your inspiration from?
My creative process depends on painting for painting, both I give what I have in mind and improvise. It depends on the space.
My inspirations come from what I see on a daily basis.
Do you paint with sketch or freestyle?
Generally, freestyle. But I have some sketchs to send.
Do you prefer to paint alone or in a group?
I prefer to paint in groups, but I don't get caught by anyone !!
Who do you like to paint with?
Abug, Bero, Snek, Trasi and Other.
What do you play in your playlist when you paint?
Usually, I paint without music, to be more attentive to the surrounding scenes. But when I hear it, it's always a good boombap or techno.
What is your top 3 of Portuguese writers?
It depends a lot on what you are talking about, but I will tell you a few that I respect in several aspects: Bray, Seg and Mulog.

How do you describe the current landscape of graffiti in Portugal?
Everyone wants to increase their ego. Few paint by essence !!
What are your future plans / projects?
I intend to continue in the world of graff, continue to paint and develop projects around it.
